SEEDTECH Sudan has been recognised as TECHNISEM’s 1st Worldwide Client for 2025, receiving the award at the TECHNISEM Worldwide Distributors Meeting in Morocco in 2026.
Founded in 2012 through a partnership with TECHNISEM, SEEDTECH Sudan has played a role in introducing F1 hybrid vegetable varieties to Sudanese farmers, including eggplant, chilli, sweet pepper, squash and watermelon. The company’s focus has extended beyond seed distribution to improving vegetable production through stronger genetics, modern varieties and improved farming practices.
By 2021–2022, SEEDTECH Sudan had developed a distribution network serving farmers across the country, from Wadi Halfa in the north to markets in the south, east and west. Hundreds of tonnes of vegetable seeds have been imported and distributed through its network.
During 2023 and 2024, the company continued serving farmers despite significant operational, transportation and import challenges. In 2025, SEEDTECH accelerated its expansion by recruiting new sales representatives, strengthening its distribution network and developing new varieties for the Sudanese market.
The 1st Worldwide Client 2025 recognition reflects the company’s growth, its relationship with Sudanese farmers and wholesalers, and its longstanding partnership with TECHNISEM. SEEDTECH Sudan says it plans to continue expanding its agricultural offering and supporting the development of vegetable production across Sudan.
